I know I tell many of you that Trey gets into a lot of mischief when I am preoccupied...well here is one of Trey's creations with the baking soda he found! What can I say....

I'm 1

Yeah I made it my first year of life. It was a good ride and boy am I glad there was some cake waiting on the other side of this year!

Taatjes loved his cake. No hesitation, he dove in and did not stop until the cake was gone from his tray. He also loved his King hat, it suited him well.

Taatjes Speaks

Yeah!!!! Taatjes said his first word! He will walk up to Justin or myself and say "UP". I know it is not a big word but he uses it all the time now. He is so proud of himself. We are going to have fun with this one?! "UP"; this means I know you know what I am saying so you better keep picking me up to encourage my communicating with you. Great, so know I have to hold him even more than I already do. He is such a cuddle bug.

Happy New Year

Hope all of you have enjoyed this Christmas season. Our family has had a great Christmas with Justin being home for the week. He and the boys have wrestled the days away.

Well we wanted to share some of the pictures from Christmas morning. I don't think the boys knew what hit them when they woke up on Christmas. Trey bounced from toy to toy. Taatjes actually played with his toys and not all the wrapping paper. It was such fun to see the joy light up in their eyes.

Trey got a train set among other things you will see. Taatjes' favorite gift was his music set. The maracas were a big hit!

Needless to say they had a blast and believe it or not every toy and game was played with that day.

As you can see Taatjes is walking!!!! He has to keep up with his brother.

Merry Christmas

Here are the boys for there christmas picture this year. This is the best one we could get out of the fifthteen or so we took. One of them was either crying or getting up from the positions on all the others. Everytime we snapped the picture Trey would throw his head back so you only saw his chin in the picture. But, we finally settled with this one.

Here is a classic picture of Taatjes unhappy. Trey may have been the reason behind this frown. The boys are doing good together. They are beginning to play with each other at times. Taatjes laughes at Trey blowing on his tummy. He can also get Trey to chase him crawling through the house. Trey is crazy about Taatjes as long as he isn't ripping any of his things. It is fun to watch them interact.
