Rock'n It

Screaming
Screaming can all to often consume about 70% of my day. Here is a breakdown.
20% - screams of joy
20% - screams of I am not getting what I want and I'm letting you know this
10% - Trey vs. Taatjes
10% - Teague just needs to
10% - in my own head when I can't figure out how to overcome my screaming problem
I do love the screams of joy but the rest I could live without. But as we all know it is a package deal. For example - Trey playing with Mator (from the Cars movie) with squealing delight as he races him and says a few of his lines from the movie; until Taatjes decides to block his way and the delight turns to Trey vs. Taatjes followed by a slap from Trey to Taatjes, mom steps in and takes Mator for the bad choice by Trey, this is followed by the extreme screaming of not getting things the way he wants; which in turn wakes up Teague crying because he his hungryand leads me to the inner screaming of frustration. I am finding myself caught in this maddening cycle all to often. January can be one of those months.
Like all of you up North the snow is great when you can get outside and play in it...but I am looking forward to spring and letting my kids scream outside.

Snow Fun
Today was our first snow outing. It is the first time there has been enough snow to pull a sled. Not much, but enough to bring big smiles and giggles to the boys faces. I woke up extremely tired today but when I opened the blinds and saw the snow I knew we had to get out and enjoy the "fluffy goodness", another one of Trey's funny quotes. I ran and ran, pulled and pulled until noses were to red to go on. They had a blast and I am now wishing I could go back to bed!
Taatjes loved eating all the snow off his mittens. Trey just wanted me to pull him super fast. He has a need for speed with everything he does. Teague was fast asleep inside the warm house. If he only knew the fun he was missing.

Your Brothers Love You!
Not yet, but someday Teague will think his brothers are great! All to soon he will want to follow them around and have their attention instead of crying when they try to smother him with love. If you can see Taatjes is trying to hold Teague's hand to stop his crying, which is making it worse but very sweet of Taatjes to be concerned for him. They both do not like it when he is crying and are quick to tell me to get him, feed him, and change him. They keep me on the ball.
Here are a few more pictures of Teague.
One more picture of these 2 little monkeys.
